-Take it down!-

Jett roared and aimed at the ground, slamming his tail and arms down with sheer force, launching a powerful earthquake across the shore. A few weaker members of the herd fell from that single attack. Jett grinned and continued battling while his trainer sat on the back of her Zebstrika, watching the crocodile bulldoze the panicking herd of buffaloes.

10, 20, 27, 28, 29... As the dust cloud caused by the herd walloved around the riverbank, Alex counted the tufts of fur Jett threw into the water. Those afrobuffaloes had enough hair and it'd grow back anyway... At least it was a safer way to count than an actual "headcount". She snickered to herself, feeling proud of that Krookodile.

Finally the amount of furballs went to 31, and Alex started scanning the area for her pokemon. Soon enough, she spotted the familiar red figure in the middle of the mess, holding a single Bouffalant on the ground. Alex knew exactly what he meant by looking at her.

"Finish it with Fire Fang! Now! After that... I'm having some lunch. You can choose whether to eat that or the canfood I have for you."

Even though Jett knew it was half a joke, he cringed. He didn't like canfood at all. He glanced at the Bouffalant and sneered, his two rows of teeth bursting into flames as he shot his maw towards his enemy. Or more likely, his prey.
