Hometown: Helia and his family originally hail from Lumiose City, Kalos. He's got a high-end flair about him and he's not shy about his origins.

Personality: He thinks he's one of the cool kids, and his self-confidence backs up the image. Helia's relaxed and active around people and you can usually hear him before you can see him; the kid's rather fond of his own voice.
Suave with the ladies and cool with the gents (at least in his own mind), he's very proud of himself but does not tip to the obnoxious side as one might think. He's proud but won't try to stuff his own excellence in your face. He loves a good physical fight, be it martial arts, arm wrestling or plain out battling, but is not quite as interested in the academics, much to his parents' dismay. Still, he knows what he has to do in order to succeed, so he tries. Most of the time.

History: Born in Lumiose as a part of a 4-head pack of siblings, Helia's childhood was both busy and crowded. He quickly learned he was, although not the eldest, one of the stronger pups in the litter, which he quickly took advantage of in all possible disagreements with his siblings.

He grew up in the big city, loving the bustle of people always keeping the place alive and going. His parents were rarely home-- His father an engineer at Amie Corp. and his mother working in the blooming modeling industry of Kalos, the children got to spend a lot of time on their own in the city. There was nothing Helia would've felt the need to complain about though. He loved the city, and the times his parents spent with the family were worth all the wait in his opinion. He found joy in channeling his will to fight into martial arts training along the way as well, which greatly decreased the amount of fights between him and the other kids. The rules at the dojo were some of the only rules he felt the need to obey, though.

Along the years he grew into a wild city child, perhaps a bit too wild in his parents' opinion. Partying and being wherever with his friends seemed to interest him more than any sort of education or chores, resulting in him sometimes skipping school and disappearing for several days at a time. Everything was easy for him and his siblings- their family was wealthy and each of them, Helia included, had a wide range of contacts and friends in the bustling metropolis. His parents saw this as a potential problem. How would their son turn out without a care in world about things that truly mattered? Had they let their children have it too easy? For Helia, his life was nothing short of perfect. However, his wild lifestyle was not going to fly for long.

On a joint decision after hearing a lot of positive opinions from family friends and co-workers alike, Helia was eventually enrolled in St. Mortiel Academy to have a change of scenery and a bit of a re-evaluation of his rowdy teenage lifestyle. Perhaps the new school would teach the kid to concentrate on getting ahead on his life before completely forgetting what was truly essential for success.

Helia loves battling and has been into martial arts from a young age, so joining the karate club felt only natural to him. He also ended up forming the Mortiel Battle Club due to the negative approach the school had in battles, wanting to prove they were more than just mindless violence. His parents slightly disapproved on engaging in solely physical extracurricular activities but hey, as long as having an outlet keeps him out of trouble, namely being his cocky self and picking challenges and fights with other people, and motivated to study.
....Right?

Extras/Fun Facts:

- Helia is very proud and aware of his looks. He's stupidly happy about his so called 'beard' / chin scruff and refuses to think about shaving it.
- Along with excercise and battling, he also likes food. Guard your snacks.
- Dislikes swimming for the sole fact that al his fur gets wet and heavy.
- Because he's nineteen years old and thus of legal age, Helia tends to think he can take on the world and whatever it brings at him, and look cool while doing it. He's got a bit of a delusion of grandeur going on and doesn't realize the fact that he is, still, very young. Not exactly hero material.
